I would recommend to everyone staying somewhere else, this is not a hotel you want to be at if traveling with pets or small children.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Our first night, the TV did not work. Went to the lobby twice to get help with it but nobody ever came, the following morning we finally got someone to come and fix it. Room didn’t have nightstand or phone. Roach bugs crawling up the walls. Ceiling was LEAKING so we kept cleaning up puddles of water in the floor. The first 4 days we were there, the pool was GREEN. Do NOT stay here just because they have a pool, it is filthy!! We were here for the dog show in Crosby; with VERY expensive dogs. Pitbulls just running around loose everywhere, running up on our dogs, but aren’t they all supposed to be leashed on hotel property?! Animal control should have been called many times. People outside of the hotel using drugs and the smell of marijuana was unbearable. Homeless folks all around the hotel.

I’m a frequent traveler with dogs, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Stay somewhere better and safer, because this place was not it.

The Older lady that worked the front desk tried to charge me $160 for a room then when my wife said I was a trucker she dropped the price too $65 even though the online the price was 40 plus tax. This was not through Expedia or hotels com. My wife said let's go because we saw what she did and felt her bad energy. Then she had no personality completely dry. If you don't like working with people or at night stay home. This was 11pm on
11/07/2024 so if the manager or owner it reading this that's the shift we walked in on.

Do NOT stay here! Checked in through FEMA and stayed 5 nights. They wouldn’t let me sign paperwork to check out for 2 days and I’m still having to fight these scam artists to check me out of their system so that I can check in elsewhere!! When we first got there they made us wait an hour so they could “clean” a room for us but the room was NOT really clean. There were gnats aplenty in the bathroom, poop smeared on the base of the toilet, dirt all on the floor, the bathroom vent and light didn’t work, and the tv wasn’t working either. My daughter wanted to swim in the pool which was dirty but that wasn’t even the worst part. There were other guests close to our room that were constantly outside fighting and threatening to shoot each other while waving guns around which definitely made me feel like we were unsafe there period. The black lady at the front desk is rude and unprofessional. When I asked for a copy of the paperwork she wouldn’t allow me to read but made me sign she told me that I don’t get a copy and that I didn’t need to see it (that’s illegal and suspicious) they are being reported to FEMA as well as the hotel and lodging association!

The housekeeper came and knocked on my door to clean my room because I hadn't had a cleaning since I arrived. That's one thing that threw me off. Secondly, before she even came into my room to clean it, I left my money on the dresser by the bed, mind you, it was there before she even started to supposedly clean my room. She told me I couldn't be in the room while she was cleaning, so I stepped out but didn't go far at all. I returned to my room after she had cleaned it to find my money missing.
I went to the housekeeping room where they keep their supplies to let another staff member know that her colleague had taken my money. She acted as if she didn't understand English. I went to the reservation desk to inform her boss, but he wasn't there. I ended up speaking to the women working at the front desk. She and I went in search of the woman who had cleaned my room so that she could return my money. She denied taking it.
I asked her if my money magically grew legs and walked away? Before I lost my temper, the lady trying to assist me suggested we check my room. We did, but my money was still missing. I apologize for my language, but I'm extremely angry, and the boss isn't doing anything to get my money back. He told me that his housekeepers don't steal. If they don't steal, where is my money?

The gentleman at the counter was nice but the room was a disaster. There was termite damage in the doorframe of the bathroom, everything felt wet in the room like it was overly humid, it was supposed to be non smoking and it absolutely stunk like cig smoke. There was even cigar and ashes trash mess spilled in the corner by the window, there were roaches also. The worst part was the fold out couch mattress was dirty, stained, had garbage under it, and mold. My son and I got a headache spending no more than about 15 minutes in that room. Packed up and left.

Again the gentleman at the counter offered to show me more rooms but I just couldn’t be there anymore.

I cannot stress enough to STAY AWAY from this place. I stay at a lot of Motel 6s and Red Roof Inns because of my large dog, so I know what to expect from them. This was a nightmare.

I arrived at around midnight. We called to let them know we’d be getting in late. I had already made and paid one reservation online for the next day, but had added this night without payment to be paid at hotel because travel plans shifted. When I arrived the woman at the desk could not find my reservations then when she did l, she kept telling me they were made for the same night. I assured her they are not and tried to show the trip reservation on my phone which she refused to look at. I think most of her problems came from her efforts to ignore me rather than listen. She went on shift and a guy came on shift who was trying to demand I pay more for the 2nd night that was ALREADY PAID through Expedia. Expedia called them and fixed the room issue after a 1.5-2 hour ordeal.

When we got into the room, it was awful. There was no shower head, it smelled awful, there was blood on the sheets, the fridge made a loud knocking sound, there were no covers on any of the lights, a crack in the sink, and lots of holes and water damage on the walls and doors. At this point it was 1:30am, and we were just going to sleep and deal with the room issue the next day when the manager was in.

When the lights turned out, the roaches appeared. Yes multiple roaches. The first one was on the floor by the fridge, the second was under the cover we set on the floor, and the third ran across the bathroom sink while I was packing out toiletries to leave. At around 2am, we let staff know we are leaving and why and asked for a refund which they refused to do.

We headed over to airport La Quinta and had a lovely remainder of our stay. I am appreciative that the manager did process my refund for the one night (paid at the hotel, Expedia was non refundable) in the morning.

Bought a room there's a big hole in the window no shampoo,conditioner, or hand soap in the dispensers on the room I know the location is ghetto af but gah damn can we get the bare minimal not this place go somewhere else kuz they ain't going to give yu partial of ur money back

I'm staying at the red roof inn currently. I picked this hotel because it has a pool, but the problem is, I can't even swim in the pool because it has bedbugs in the pool, when I first got in the pool and discovered it had bedbugs in there, I got bitten by one. I've never seen this before in my life, bedbugs in the pool. All I can say is wow!
