Hotel smells awful. I stayed here for 3 days while working and I every time I walked into the lobby, it had a very strong marijuana smell. Not the end of world, but then you walk into the room and it has a ridiculously strong cigarette smoke smell, mixed with whatever incense they use to try and cover it up. Hotel is recently remodeled and looks decent, however my room has a very dirty carpet. Clearly wasn’t vacuumed. TV remote was also really sticky. I cleaned it with a wash cloth and it was fine after. The woman that checked me in was extremely nice and professional, however the owner and his wife are the complete opposite. Very rude/cold and not accommodating. The Candlewood is directly behind them and well worth the $20 extra per night. I will never stay here again.

1st during Hurricane beryl I had a room and it was paid for and at the staff had the audacity to say check out is @ 11. I showed proof and was told the power is out let me talk to the owner. The staff M-F great amazing people. Sat-Sun crew lazy just don’t even want to be bothered and will do the bare minimum. The owner and wife are just rude and money hungry. The power is out he is still telling staff to make sure people are checked out. I’ve had roaches and they don’t care. I even showed that a rat ate my chips and there was a giant hole and the owner said on the phone I’ll make up for it, offered a free night. Then when asked about it I was told to still pay and they wouldn’t even change me to a different room. And there’s just so much more to say about this place I could write a book. Many of these reviews are lies, this place is not good. Only come here if you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.

Room was very very clean and spacious and no smoke smell which is always a plus. I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms and it still felt high class. Carla at the front desk was so welcoming and sweet she made the check in process very smooth. Would reccomend for nice rooms that are budget friendly.

Checked in for a night and thankful for the location and for the kindness and recommendations from the staff member at the check in counter! Spacious room and a big bathroom is an added bonus!

Nice room love the showers but their customer service sucks. The breakfast that they serve is only cereal or hunny buns and oat meal cakes.‍♀️ the morning manager is very rude and I believe may be a lil racism there towards African Americans.

Room smells like mildew and piss. They don’t advertise that they only offer old bananas and 2 cheap brands of cereal. I will NEVER EVER get a room here again. Being a trucker I was expecting at least some hot breakfast but I guess that’s too much to ask for
