I’ve never written a bad review for any company, but this situation certainly warrants it. A manager named Maria treated my elderly parents with extreme disrespect. They had ordered step stones from this location - 15 of them arrived cracked and damaged, and 7 stones were missing. When we requested a refund, we were told that the warehouse knew about the missing stones as they were short stocked, but nobody bothered to inform us.

For the 15 damaged stones, we were told Home Depot would send a driver to pick them up. The driver came, told us the stones were too damaged to take back, and they would issue a refund immediately. Nearly a month later, no refund. When my father traveled to the store and spoke to Maria about this, she said we needed to return the 15 pieces or no refund. Despite explaining the situation with the driver, she proceeded to have an irritable attitude and refused to do anything about it. After my father gave negative feedback regarding this service experience, she told him to go right ahead and write that review because it didn’t affect her. So here it is.

I would never do business with this location again - other Home Depot stores and their employees clearly care more about their customers. Save the hassle and skip!

Just walked out and I honestly owe Wes in wood working aisle a 10 star review. I was in aisle 12 plumbing and not a store associate in site and I tracked down Wes 5 aisles over. I needed a 3/4" brass coupler, Union, female gate, fitted stop, and something else. None the less, I dont understand any of this stuff, but my contractor was able to relay the info over the phone to Wes and Wes found everything we needed in about 2 min without breaking a sweat.

I know without his help I drive all the way to Dixon and back again.

Ordered a Security Screen Door in May 2023. I was told 2 weeks for door to be shipped and installed. Try 3 months!

The door was installed and I had to pull on the door knob to sink the dead bolt. The installer stated the dead bolt had to work it's way in.
I called HD and said it's been a year and it's worse not better. The top part of the door is flush and below the dead bolt there is a 3/4 inch gap from stressing the dead bolt to lock.
Called HD and explained it's worse not better. They said it has been 13 months. One month over the warranty and I would have to pay the installer again to come out and fix his screw up.

NEVER AGAIN!

The Home Depot in Woodland, California has the typical selection of home improvement supplies and contractors to install about anything you may need. Today was my 1st trip to the Woodland store and I was looking for lighting and garden plants. The lighting display was a bit disappointing, but oh my, the garden area and plants were outstanding. If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up ?. Thank you.

All is good in this center and good support staff except order pick up ready for you to pick up. I am waiting for my order last 3 days and it is not ready to pick up.

I may need to escalate manager or corporate to make my order ready. I am surprise something is not working in pick up ready department.

I placed an online order for pickup hours later. I went to pick up and it was still not ready, apparently the person who picks orders left 20 minutes after i placed my order @ noon and no one else could do it for 3 hours. I had to pick my own order. Took over 30 minutes for somebody to help me getv2 big items from the top shelf. I'm a pearl member. Once I got someone to acknowledge me and see I was a "real" customer they were better, but thr damage was done. I will never order from Woodland HD if I can avoid it.

This Home Depot is generally unhelpful and staff are not what I would say willing to assist. Home Depot’s slogan is “doers get more done” and you will definitely be doing it all yourself. Having said that this Home Depot is especially bad as they get to closing time. They close up registers and make staff go home, making it really difficult to check out. The only checkout that is open near most closing times is for returns with all the self check out registers closed. Only 5 or so people in line and it took half an hour. I would suggest not trying to “get more done” within an hour of closing!!
